A leading legal technology and services firm is seeking a Senior Director to lead its Advanced Learning Institute, overseeing legal education, thought leadership, and professional development across eDiscovery, legal technology, investigations, information governance, legal operations, and artificial intelligence. This attorney-track role reports to the CMO and is responsible for setting the Institute’s educational strategy, ensuring all programming is practical, technically accurate, and legally sound.
The Senior Director will lead development of CLE programs, webinars, practice guides, white papers, and research reports, translating complex legal and technical topics including privilege, proportionality, defensibility, Technology Assisted Review, analytics, and Generative AI into practical guidance for legal professionals. The role also owns strategy and programming for the firm’s annual Symposium, drives original thought leadership on emerging issues like AI governance and technology competence, and builds customized education programs for clients and strategic relationships. Success is measured through audience growth, Symposium and webinar engagement, and the quality and business impact of programming.
Candidates should hold a JD (active bar license preferred but not required), have 10+ years of experience in legal practice, eDiscovery, legal technology, or legal education, and bring strong writing, teaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills. The base salary is $190,000.
